Purpose
Ignite Student Ministries exists as a Jesus Focused Youth Ministry that ignites life-changers to reach UP, reach IN and reach OUT.Ministry Verse
Matthew 5:16 "Let your light (ignite) before men, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven." (NCSB)
Ministry Heart
This is a generation of youth looking for answers "weary and worn out, like sheep with out a shephard" (Matthew 9:36) experiencing lot's of pain with family, broken relationships, loneliness, depression, rejection, addiction...
Ignite wants to be a safe place for those hurting and struggling hoping to point them to Christ, the great shepard, the only ONE who gives "rest to the weary and broken-hearted."
We desire for our youth to be like Jesus and love people like Jesus, meeting each person where he or she is at in life.
Ministry Mission
reach UP to passionately pursue Jesus daily in prayer and worship knowing that "apart from Him we can do nothing" (John 15:5).
reach IN to deepen our faith in Jesus with time alone with God, Bible study, scripture memory, defending and sharing our faith and training others to do the same.
reach OUT with the love of Christ inside and outside the community and to pursue personal relationships sharing Jesus with them by our lives and our words.
